Hi everyone! My name is Lis and I am currently a third year at the Ohio State University. I am majoring in Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife with a special in forestry and wildlife as well as minoring in Spanish. I very much love working with animals but I am also a huge plant fan as I am mother to 15 plants! It is hard for me to pick a favorite plant, however I little cactus named Atticus who has been with me for 7 years now. I only have one plant that is not a cactus or succulent but I am currently trying to grow two bonsai trees! Some hobbies of mine include drawing, painting, going for walks outside (when it isn’t so hot), horseback riding, and just spending time with close friends. For my coat of arms I drew a symbol of a horse because growing up animals, and especially horses, were my biggest and passion and when I first started enjoying and practicing art I just drew horse after horse until I began to branch out. I am originally from Canton, Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and pretty much nothing else. At home I have three cats, one that follows me around everywhere and never leaves my side while I’m home. For my motto for my coat of arms I wrote “live life to it’s fullest” because often times I become so caught up in everything I’m “supposed” to do in order to follow life’s path rather than actually living it. Finally for last slot I included my major as it represents what I am most passionate about — connecting with and protecting nature and our beautiful planet.
